I had a super uneventful but really nice weekend. My dad and brother were both in Montreal (for separate reasons) so the three of us caught up with each other for a super tasty fish & chips lunch yesterday at possibly my new favourite restaurant in the city, Brit and Chips. I'm a sucker for British food cause it makes me super nostalgic. I was pretty much in a food coma afterwards so I spent the rest of the day lazing around at home, sewing a few brooch orders and mending some dresses for the next Young Captive update. Today was suuuuper lazy and nice but ended up in two finished drawings: one sketchy one where I was playing with layer transparencies and one re-do of a drawing I posted here recently. Certain things about it were bugging me so I changed it up. I think I'm going to have some postcards made of each of these so I'll be sure to update when they're up on Etsy, if anyone's interested.
Here are the lil draws:
& Just because I'm awful, here's a silly vain photobooth picture I took while bumming around the house in my favourite chambray button up yesterday. >_<
hi! + bye. :)

Both of those would make great postcards! Love the details with the transparency. Looking forward to seeing more from you in all creative aspects :)
1. i love that chambray button up! i've been looking for the perfect one but i'm super picky.
2. i love love love those drawings. aaah
especially the second.

aww love the pics
amanda - thank you! i'm hoping that when school finally ends for me this march i'll have more time to devote to the art side of things rather than just the vintage shops.
bethany - i know, right?! i thrifted this one a few weeks ago. it's 1990s originally from the gap and the perfect colour/softness. i've been wearing it like..every day. + thank you! <3
memka - thanks :)
your haircut really suits you. work that fringe! i rocked the bangs for a few years, but i have finally grown them out. its funny because i still think that they are there and im always flicking my non existent bangs <--it makes me look a little crazy :S I really like the drawings! i agree that they would make really cool postcards
