beat the heat

ok, i think i have to face facts, i am a terrible blogger! i can never keep up. it might be partially due to this EXTREME HEATWAVE which is stopping me from doing literally ANYTHING but sit in front of my fan, sweating and panting. attractive, i know! these days i can't wait to get to work so i can sit in my air conditioned cubical. really.

i have been doing the somewhat lazy thing and posting pictures/mini blog entries on Chictopia instead of on here. i suppose having one follower is a bit of a motivation crusher. must do a better job marketing myself, i think! anyway, up there is a silly picture taken the other day of nick and i accidentally matching. notice the massive fan in the window, aka the only thing making my life not hell right now. we picked it up at the salvation army for $10 in a fit of desperation when it got to be 40 degrees (that's 104 to you americans) out!

i've also been steadily updating the vintage shop, so here's a little peek at a few things in store now: florals everywhere!
