Surprise! My event this weekend was coming to Toronto to visit my mum and see some pals. Luckily some of these sweet and talented ladies helped me out on Saturday and we shot some photos of new stock for Young Captive. The shop is transitioning from a vintage shop into one that sells selective vintage, reconstructed and handmade pieces. I'm extremely excited to present some of the handmade pieces right here, right now! The photography setup was the work of Jill Botting, whose flickr page can be found here and who also happens to be modeling in these (ain't she a beaut?).

We also shot a bunch of photos of new dresses out by some train tracks near Jill's place which I'll make a post about in the next few days. In the meantime, I'm gonna lounge around my mom's house and enjoy some seriously good cooking. Hope anyone reading this had a great weekend too!
