berry pickin'

Hi! I'm going to have to make this a quick post since I'm just waiting to get picked up and whisked away to the US border - off to spend a few days with Nick and his parents at his dad's place in Leominster, MA. I'm mostly excited because his mother keeps telling me how epic the thrifting is there, plus I get to shop at stores like Target and eat at places like umm..Friendly's?! Though I'm sure the majority of people find this super boring and maybe even kinda gross, I get really excited about since we don't have them here!

Speaking of Nick's family, last weekend we took a mini day trip off Montreal island to go berry picking with his brother Jonny & his girlfriend Chloe (who just so happens to run naughty mess vintage)! We spent a few hours going nuts on the raspberry and blueberry crops and spent some time hanging out with the donkey who lives on the berry farm. When we got home Nick and I made an INSANE raspberry cheesecake, which has since been completely polished off. I assure you, it was delicious. I'll leave you with a few pictures from our excursion and hopefully have a chance to make a longer post soon :)
